  Redeeming a Certificate

If you have a Certificate Number from FTIRsearch.com, you can redeem it for free database search credits. A Certificate Number can be used by anybody (not just the person listed on the mailer or email), but once it is redeemed that number cannot be used again.
To redeem your Certificate Number, follow the simple steps below. You may want to print a copy of this page before continuing, so you can refer to it as you follow the links from this page.
1. Open a new FTIRsearch.com member account. Your Email address will be your login name to access the FTIRsearch.com member's area. If you already have an account, you can skip this step.
2. Login to the FTIRsearch.com members area. If you just signed up for a new account, your password will be automatically sent to you via Email. Please remember to update your profile. We recommend you change your assigned password the very first time you login.
3. Once you are logged in:
a. Select the Redeem Credit Certificate option from the FTIRsearch.com Member's Menu.
b. Enter the 15 character Certificate Number exactly as it appears on the mailer or in the Email. Certificate numbers are always three sets of five characters separated by two dashes like this: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Make sure you include all the dashes and that you correctly match all upper and lower case letters.
c. Click on Submit Credit Certificate Info. This will automatically redeem the Certificate Number and add the assigned credit value to your account.
d. Click on Member's Menu to return to the main menu.
That's all there is to it. You can use your FTIRsearch.com credits to perform both Text Searches and Spectral Searches on the largest online database of FTIR and Raman spectra.
